This is the first Pac Cup for Viva.  We are very excited.  We have four racers who are new to this race but not new to offshore sailing.  Our "Ace" is Sean Mulvihill who has done NINE Pac Cups so he knows the route very well. We also have a father/son team with Don and Peter Jesberg.  Don has extensive offshore racing experience, for Peter this will be a first crossing to Hawaii.  We also have John Bonds, a veteran offshore racing sailor and ship captain.  Ian Simms will be another with a first crossing to Hawaii and a very experienced sailors from his days at SFYC with Peter.

Qualifying Sail Details

Viva have completed two California Offshore Race Weeks.  In 2024 we completed the Cal Offshore Race Week, Spinnaker Cup and did an immediate return trip to Belvedere making a passage 175 mile, 35 hours.  We also did the 2024 Delta Ditch Run, 66 miles and a 75 mile return in 22 hours.
